my stats:
diet:
I have either frozen fruit with yogurt and granola; frozen fruit in skim milk; a mixture of frozen fruit and fresh fruit, cut up and in a bowl; or eggs with salsa and a piece of fruit. Sometimes when I’m feeling adventurous and thin, skinny I have mixture of two of these haha or when i go to the gym i eat two) (All organic options, by the way) AND I HAVE GREEN TEA EVERY MORNING. I never use sweetener. EDIT: also been having smoothies and or cheerios with blueberries recently. fresh fruit bowls with mango ceylon green tea has been my go-to breakfast of the summer however.
I either have a salad with avocado in it and fruit on the side; an apple or two with pb; frozen fruit with yogurt and granola; sometimes almonds and dried fruit (which is really filling and quick if I have no time to make a real lunch); etc. Typically I bring lunch, but sometimes not because I slept in or somehow didn’t make time to pack a lunch. I also bring green tea in a thermos or ice water in a camelback brand water bottle everyday, but any type of bottle works really. In the summers I usually don’t eat midday… maybe a piece of fruit or froyo? This is because I’m running around all day by the beach and I just haven’t stopped to get food. Also, I ALWAYS eat breakfast so if I ate a big breakfast I’m full until mid afternoon and my dinners are really big in the summer (one of the ladies I stay with is Italian).
I usually just snack on fruit and/or nuts or something, but when I have dinner it’s usually salmon; tallapia; rice with beans, jalapenos, avocado, and tomatoes; salad; or lately I’ve just been having organic mango sorbet with strawberries… EDIT: well-rounded lately with some meat (usually fish), carbs, veggies, salad, and then some fruit for dessert.
In short, I try to eat about 1400 calories a day or less. Of course, these aren’t the only things I eat, but 90% of the time this is all I eat. It all depends on the circumstances, etc. I snack on almonds, fruit, granola bars, See’s lollipops, etc. throughout the day haha
exercise:
I go to the gym at least 4 times a week and work on my legs and abs. When I get there, I walk on the treadmill for about 3 minutes, then run for about 15. Then I get on the elliptical on a moderately high level for about 25 minutes. Then I go in the studio and work on my abs with exercises I’ve learned from these videos (here and here) for about 10 minutes. Then I go back to the treadmill or elliptical for about 10 minutes and typically I walk either to or from the gym, which is about 2 or 3 miles. In the summer, I walk my dogs every morning or jog with them, but typically I don’t use the gym in the summer. During the school year, I walk to and from school most days, which is almost a mile away. EDIT: spinning/cycling has been my summer exercise of choice, along with walking EVERYWHERE i go. long runs on the beach in the evening or early mornings are good, but i can’t go when it’s too warm or my body basically breaks out in a rash and then i faint and die… so. yeah.
lazy girl skinny routine: walk everywhere. drink water. don’t eat shit. it’s that easy.
ALSO-
it is important if you’re counting calories (which I don’t recommend because it can turn into paranoia) to subtract how many calories you’ve burned from how many you ate and to then eat at least 1200 calories total for a day but no more than 2000 unless you’re doing severe weight training.
